Sohel

Sohel is in charge of the entire cruise – he looks after the food and beverages, supervises the rooms and deck, tells our guests all they want to know about the rivers and boats and liaises with the captain, crew and the cook back at home in Dhaka.

Majid

Majid is the B613’s ever-present majhi (captain) who is also responsible for the boat’s maintenance – if anything needs to be repaired, he takes care of it.

Rashid

Rashid is Majid’s assistant majhi (equivalent to first-mate) on the B613, and also keeps the deck spick and span.

Selim

Selim is the B613’s cook on the river and is responsible for taking food and other items to the boat, setting the menu for the day, serving the guests, and taking everything back to the city after a cruise..

Sobhan

Sobhan is the engineer on the B613 and is usually found below the decks, ensuring a smooth voyage.

Halim

Halim is the majhi (captain) in charge of Flèche d’or and keeps the boat in good order.

Fazlu

Fazlu assists Halim on the Flèche d’or (equivalent to first-mate) and sometimes also captains the boat as the majhi.

Qayyum

Like Fazlu, Qayyum helps Halim with manning the Flèche d’or (equivalent to first-mate), sometimes captaining as the majhi.
