| The Ganges carries the waters from the southern slopes of the Himalayas while the Brahmaputra collects those of its northern faces -- these two magnificent and holy rivers then merge into one just north of Dhaka. Still further south they meet and mix with the mighty Meghna, and the water she brings from eastern India. These and numerous other rivers form the planet's largest delta as they flow into the Bay of Bengal.
This is a country imbibed with ancient culture and traditions, which is only now gradually opening its doors to tourism after its independence. Our traditional wooden country boats (with modern amenities) allow you to discover the over 24,000kms of rivers that have been used as trading routes down through the centuries.
